Lake Norman Services
Our Lake Norman office, located in the Lake Norman, N.C., community, provides a continuum of critical crisis services to those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse, including:- 24/7 Greater Charlotte Hope Line: free, safe, confidential hotline for Mecklenburg County survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as well as parents in need of support
- Safety planning
- Crisis management
- Case management
- Systems advocacy
- Support groups for adults and children
We connect victims to our court advocates who guide victims through the legal system and to our Clyde & Ethel Dickson Domestic Violence Shelter, which provides a safe haven for victims in imminent danger ready to leave an abusive relationship. In addition, the Lake Norman office has trained clinicians available to help individuals and families dealing with trauma related to domestic violence, sexual assault and abuse, and child abuse.
